Shoranur Agricultural Implements Consortium (SAICO) has been formed under micro & small enterprises cluster development programme of the central and state governments. Main aim of the SAICO is to give full fledged support to the micro and small enterprises to solve their common issues and upgrade the infrastructure through sharing common facility service centre.
Experienced persons lead the team and young persons are ready to act. We want our mission and vision to reach the intended destination with hard work and support from state and central governments.
Shoranur is also called india’s sheffield. it was Sri.C K Menon who introduced open forging technology in shoranur in 1928. In and around shoranur we have 150 micro and small enterprises. More than 3000 employees are the back bone of our industries. Our products are well accepted by the customers.

SAICO shoranur’s products are made out of rails which are made out of quality steel. These rails are cut and forged on power hammers to produce our final products. Most of the similar product in the market (of other competitors) are made out of sheet steel.
Due to the quality of steel used and the manufacturing process carried out SAICO shoranur’s products are stronger and will provide long life for the implements.
